Waco Home Depot event on April 18

The TCEQ has partnered with The Home Depot to host an Earth Day consumer-education event about water conservation on Saturday, April 18, 2009, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at 16 Home Depot stores across Texas. Participants will learn tips to help save money, water, and energy, and will learn how to build a rain barrel for use at home. For $50, participants may build their own rain barrels to take home. (optional) The first 30 customers to pre-register will receive a FREE Take Care of Texas reusable bag, a faucet aerator, and a compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb at the event. To pre-register, visit your participating Home Depot store. The one-hour class will provide tips to save you up to $1,300 a year.
