The first day of the Christmas tree mulching program offered by the Department of Solid Waste is Saturday, December 31st. As a way of saying thanks, all participants will receive special KTB Put It Here car litterbags.

2005 has been an exciting year for KTB. From putting up the North Gateway to planting trees in the Historic District, to hosting the Environmental Challenge at Raye Allen Elementary, we have managed to really work hard in our community. Graffiti Hurts - Posted 12/16/2005
KTB is proud to announce that in January, a group of KTB volunteers is scheduled to paint over a graffiti alleyway in central Temple. The goal of any graffiti removal program is to discourage vandalism and crime.

Project Redirectory 2008 Awards
The news is in!!! Project Redirectory, KTB's annual phone book recycling contest has ended with a bang! The top 3 winners are 1st Place Cater Elementary, 2nd Place Kennedy-Powell Elementary and 3rd Place Scott Elementary.
