One of the great things Temple has to offer our community is its variety of parks and trails. There are currently 49 developed parks and special use areas all throughout the city. Due to this vast number, it's difficult for every park to be kept at its perfect, pristine condition. This is why the Adopt-A-Trail program is so important to our community. The purpose of this community program is to maintain our parks in their best quality condition. By volunteering your time to clean up our local parks in need, you can help to restore our community parks and trails to the great beauties that they should always be.
Should you decide to volunteer, once you've completed your work, the group or individuals involved will receive a certificate of recognition for participating in the Adopt-A-Trail program and a sign will be placed at the adopted area to recognize the participant(s) work.
