Each year PatCO Construction, Keep Temple Beautiful, LULAC, and Citizens For Progress identify a dilapidated house in the City of Temple to renovate with the help of volunteers.

Adopt-A-Street
The Adopt-a-Street program gives local groups the opportunity to take ownership over a public street in Temple.

The Put It Here campaign encompasses several projects. Schools and clubs may register to clean up public areas, neighborhoods, or campuses.

Dont Mess With Texas
Dont Mess With Texas is a statewide campaign aimed at preventing littering and keeping Texas litter- free. They hold multiple events each year to engage communities in litter control and awareness.

Great American Clean-up
Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup, the nation's largest community improvement program, takes place annually, and involves an estimated 3 million volunteers and attendees nationwide.

Adopt-A-Trail
The City of Temple encompasses parks, gardens and trails. These areas provide our community with an enhanced quality of life through recreational spaces, picnic spots, exercise opportunities, and community gathering areas.

Texas Recycles Day
Texas Recycles Day is a statewide public awareness campaign that aims to educate Texans on the environmental and economic benefits of waste reduction and recycling. Its success served as the model for the development of America Recycles Day.

Waste In Place
Waste in Place is a resource guide for educators to use with Pre-K to 6th grade students created by Keep America Beautiful. The guide is used to help students learn about litter prevention, beautification and community greening, recycling, and managing solid waste.

Adopt-A-Highway
What started out as a pilot program in 1985 has now grown into a nationally-recognized program across the world, and it was just 25 years ago when the first stretch of roadway was adopted in Texas. We salute the thousands of volunteers who make a difference and keep our roadway clean and beautiful!
